My (short) experience with Stroodles Doodles:
I filled out an application to get one of her puppies and when she called me to talk about my application she left a voicemail and said we were approved for a dog but there was one thing she wanted to talk about. When I called back she brought up that we said in the email that we wouldn’t spay or neuter the puppy, and when we said we wouldn’t ever rule out having a litter (we’re not breeders by any means, but if we really enjoy the breed, why wouldn’t we want to contribute to it with one or two litters?), she got very rude and sarcastic and accused us of being backyard breeders, and said anyone we got a puppy from that didn’t make us spay/neuter would be a backyard breeder as well. No matter how much I tried to explain we did not want the puppy for breeding purposes, and how I understood she didn’t want any of her puppies offspring going to a puppy mill, she ended the phone call with “good luck with your breeding attempt”.
