   I show Mi-Kis and breed only to produce that special show quality puppy. I evaluate each litter to see if I have produced a pup that I feel would be a good candidate for the show ring. It is very expensive to breed, when it is done right. We are interested in producing the healthiest Mi-Ki possible. Therefore, we drive two hours away to have our breedable dogs’ hearts checked by a canine cardiologist, their eyes examined by canine ophthalmologist and we have blood panels done to check for abnormalities in their blood that could indicate other unseen problems or diseases.

   Mi-Kis are considered a rare breed and not yet recognized by AKC. Therefore it is important that the puppy you purchase AND both of the pups parents, are registered with a Mi-Ki ONLY registry. We DNA all of our puppies to prove that the parents are who we say they are. We also have proof that the parents are registered with Mi-Ki ONLY registries. If the puppy and the parents are not registered with a Mi-Ki ONLY registry, you cannot be sure that you are getting a true Mi-Ki.

   We have just two breedable girls. We breed them once a year and no more than three times in their lifetime. There’s a real interest in buying from a reputable breeder. Therefore we rarely have puppies available.

   Hi Denise, I just left you a voice mail. My little Bishion/Maltese passed in December. She was with me11 years. A lady gave her to me that had never had a dog before & she decided she was a cat lady.
   I live alone in a villa in South Bend & miss my walks with my little Katie.
   I NEED another forever friend even though I know I can’t replace Katie, I need to love another dog.
