Flat Creek Border Collies — We have been breeding BC’s for over 20 years. Our breeding program is designed to promote healthy, happy working and companion animals. Our puppies have very diverse “jobs” and yet are ideally suited to each. We have sold puppies to 14 states and 2 foreign countries. Our genetics are a combination of imported and domestic lineage. We have litters usually available in the spring and fall. We have the following colors: Black, Red, Blue, Merle, Tri, Lilac and Lavender.
ANOTHER SOLUTION!!!! by the looks of this place they don’t make a lot breeding dogs! think outside the box? maybe everyone should donate to a contractor to build a warm building for them? if the owner didn’t take the donation then that’s a different story! really if everyone made a small donation this would save the dogs, seriously would you donte from your pocket to help these dogs?? someone make it happen I mean if you really care then start a donation!!! These dogs need to be TAKEN away from her!! 2 dogs have already died! I don’t know WHY people are saying not to buy from her if anything THAT IS THE ONLY WAY to get these poor dogs away from her!!!!!! I am disgusted she keeps them outside like this!!!!!! Dearest Kathy: I’ve come up with a solution to the problem of the cruel treatment of innocent and loving creatures. I contacted Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotbe at their TV website. They are animal lovers and have taken in rescue dogs. They will get something done. You can rest assured of that. I take in animals myself and God moved me in the right direction. Please stop posting this nasty, horrid comments. You are not helping these dogs. Yes, people are angry and upset but there is no need for the garbage that is being posted here. If you want to help and are in the area and most of all, are concerned for the dogs, go and drop off at the edge of the property some food, hay, straw, anything to keep the dogs warm. Just drop it and leave. No nasty notes or comments..if you feel compelled to say anything ..just that it is a belated holiday present for the dogs and that you are concerned about them. These people are under seige and this kind of outrage makes them more isolated and more difficult to negotiate with. We will see who the true dogs lover posting here are. Concentrate on the dogs, put away your outrage and put your hand in your wallet and help the dogs.
People need to know what they are supporting when purchasing an animal from this place. These people should be in jail! & even then they would have it better then the dogs they claim to love. HELP SAVE these dogs, put these “people” out of business !!
Can she not even groom her dogs? The shihtzus are in horrendous condition, coats matted terribly, those poor dogs do not belong outside in the snow. If she calls herself a reputable breeder why doesn’t she build a decent building with heat and AC in it?

Any dog you get from anywhere can and will most likely turn out to be an awesome dog if you put in the time and love they deserve!!!
This is not a credit to the breeding facility, but a credit to the canine species!!!!

I have learned a LOT about Border Collies since adopting one and one of the first red flags about this place is the merles!!! Too much white which is called ‘lethal white’!!! This means a lot of the pups are deaf, blind or both!!!! When a buyer finds out they can’t train their ‘super smart Border Collie’ they may not realize HE CAN’T HEAR THEM…. and he goes to a shelter…. if he’s lucky.
When the breeder notices they are deaf/blind… what do you think they do with them????
This place is a disgrace and if anyone wants to pay for a great dog, they should contact Rescues!!!! With just a little patience you can find the perfect dog there!!! Not only will they support you while your new dog is adjusting, they will take them back if it doesn’t work out!!!!
YES, they will screen you….. which is what a good breeder does, too!!! Placing the right dog in the right home…. equals happy dog, happy family!

Hello, I was looking to purchase a BC. I am planning on training it in agility and show him. I came across some pictures of your the dogs on your land. I am not sure if I want a puppy or adult. One of the dogs that really struck me or caught my interest was a black & white adult, it appears he’s frozen in the snow or the very least freezing while he looks to be yelping and not moving. Now the puppy I was interested in… Well he appears to not be on your property anymore, I heard you wheeled him and another away in a wheelbarrow. Guess I can’t buy him!!
Now those blue barrels that you have for shelter in this really freezing weather, should I purchase one of those ? I never in my life would have guessed plastic would be good at insulating. WAIT… it’s NOT, but you are a POS breeder and know this due to the fact those animals died and your dogs being so unhappy and blustery cold!
While your in your trailer and your phone is off the hook, take a minute to evaluate your shitty life, your crappy morals, and your ability to be so cruel to innocent animals. The Lord will deal with you in time. Unfortunately, those babies will most likely die before He does, but He will handle your sorry trashy self!
It’s true this probably won’t make much difference in the fight against puppy mills, but this will make a HUGE difference in the lives of these dogs and that is ALL that matters right now.

This person doesn’t care about the poor dogs who are all outside in the snow in subzero weather. Dogs of all ages including puppies. I’d like to see her live outside in one of those pathetic plastic barrels that she uses for houses. It’s very clear that all she cares about is money.

She actually lives down state – NO WHERE near the Flat Creek Farm – so the rumor has been proved to be false. Yes get upset over the condition of the facility – but do not get upset over misinformation and make sure you do not slander these people or the law will be after you.

I’m praying every animal will be released from this hell on earth. It’s wrong, we have a border collie, it’s too cold here in the Atlanta area for him to be out, He loves outdoors to a point, we didn’t have to say twice , come on in these last few days- it’s too cold anyone realizes that, common sense. Any person breeding dogs for profit is doing an injustice to all of society. People who purchase a “pet” from a breeder are worsening this injustice. Our shelters are full of unwanted pets, and we spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on capturing, housing, and destroying these unwanted pets……why……so some breeder can make money? The conditions these animals live in is deplorable. I live on a farm, and no the farm animals don’t live in heated barns, but in this extreme cold they are not pastured either. We do all we can to make sure they do not suffer the extremes of weather. Breeders who do small scale breeding for the betterment of the breed are all that should be allowed. Laws regarding breeding must be tightened to protect those that can not protect themselves from greedy breeders.
Were is PETA when you need them?? These people are very ill to be able to treat their animals this way. Makes me ill. God Bless those dogs.

Anyone who has eyes can see that this person is sick and does not deserve to be even in the presence of animals. These dogs are dying because they aren’t allowed inside during one of the worst winters we have seen.
IF IT’S TOO COLD OUTSIDE FOR YOU, THEN IT’S DEFINITELY TO COLD FOR DOGS. Don’t get the naive idea in your head that the fur on an animal protects them from cold like this. You can compare the fur on a Border Collie to that of you walking outside in single digit temps with nothing but long underwear on.

Two dogs died there last night and as quickly as they could someone removed the bodies with a wheel barrow. The police won’t help. They actually have a police officer there to protect the scumbag breeder not to help the dogs. If anyone from NBC news or any news network sees this please send a news crew there and expose this atrocity! There is a picture circulating facebook and the picture is horrid. This place needs to be turned in. It doesn’t allow you on this website to download pictures.

I am just so troubled by people throwing the word state standards and what have you around. I have the understanding that state standards do not always put the rights of animals at it’s highest priority. Yes I have owned dogs that lived outside and have some that lived indoors. The fact of the matter is these dogs are considered a money maker and not loving pets. The overhead is kept low so as to make a larger profit. The laws where this is happening is not adequate to keep these dogs from suffering. I hope that these law makers there have every frozen dog and pup put on their door step. I am a person that believes in Karma and I believe they will see the Karma come back.
