On The Rocks strives to produce true all-around Ridgebacks. Our goal is to have dogs with the ability and desire to perform in any performance event asked of them while still maintaining exceptional temperaments and correct structure. All our dogs and puppies are raised and live in our house with 5 kids. Our puppies have the dispositions to live in any type of home, (apartment, houses, condos, etc). Our dogs are pets first and foremost and we expect the same from anyone who is owned by our dogs!
We would like to share a bad experience we had with Jessica Bowers. We put $500 down on a puppy from a specific set of parents. When the female did not come in heat as expected, Jessica refused to refund our deposit (she stated if there was a problem she would refund our money). We did ask for our deposit back many times but she refused to work with us. This is not how most other breeders operate and we’d like to warn everyone to be very careful when dealing with her because you could end up being cheated as we were. In talking to other Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders in her area, they don’t even allow her to be part of their group because of her disreputable practices.
