Ms. Short, My name is Nancy Houck, My daughter LaDema Porter contacted you on facebook regarding a Maltese you have listed as needing a new home. We were to meet with you tomorrow , but I have decided I do not want to get another dog at this time. I am 78 and have 4 cats and another old dog and feel it is more than I need to take on right now. I see you are a breeder and I also do not purchase dogs from breeders. The fact that you are willing to just bring him and drop him off with strangers does not tell me you have the dogs best interest at heart. I am sorry I am notifying you so late, but I did give it a lot of thought and my internet was down all day yesterday. Didn’t have your phone number.
I have body dog from Marcia before. The dog was very healthy and she always kept in touch with me over the years. I’m not sure about the other review because when I did buy a dog for Marsha she asked for my prior vet records and information about my home before the dog was placed with me. I felt she went above and beyond what most people would do when placing a dog. I am really grateful for the years that we had the dog we purchased from her. Our dog was very healthy and when we are ready for another dog we’ll look to Marsha for her advice.
