Our dogs are “ranch raised” and are well adjusted and confident. When they are able, our puppies get out at least twice daily for walks in the woods, swimming in the creek and interact in doing chores. This really brings out their individual personalities and contributes to their psychological well being. Our dogs are able to do anything a Border Collie can do whether it be a top agility, stock dog or the best companion. Whatever the “job”, our dogs will fit the bill.
We are a family of 2 with multiple children and grandchildren. We had a border collie for 10 years. We have a home with a back yard and plenty of room for an active dog. We currently have two 8 year old dogs, a shitzu and a Sheltie( who we are going to lose to lymphoma).We want to integrate the Border Collie into our family in the near future, while we still have the sheltie. I have had a black and white Border Collie and now have a blue merle Sheltie, so I am staying away from these reminder colors.We are looking for an OZ (austrailian red) or dilute. I see that you raise them.
