I seen pictures of the place where these poor dogs are living and living in a terrible dirty run down unkind place, who puts plastic barrels out for animals to live in and expect them to be warm it is freezing cold out how can little puppies and senior dogs live in this cold weather, the breeders sleep at night and the poor animals are out in the cold, how can you show your face around the community where you live, and for those that think it is ok for these poor animals to live in this condition that right there tells me what kind of person you are, you know you can take people out of the ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out of the people, these poor animals are in need of a fast rescue now every one of the poor dogs need to be taken from this horrible dirty place and these people need to be arrested for neglect and abuse to animals…but there time needs to match the crime they have to sleep in the plastic barrels in this very very cold weather with no hay or blankets they get the same treatment..

here is a Breeder in Sprakers, New York [Montgomery County] keeping dogs & puppies outside in the frigid cold. They have NO hay, NO bedding, some have ICE COLD Plastic Barrels, chained to the barrels, all penned within electric fencing.

Puppies getting zapped by the elec. fence. Over 100 dogs there, many are small [Chihuahuas & similar] some young puppies out there in the cold as young as 8 WEEKS old!

This is the Breeder location, and contact information:

NOTE: As of today, I was told she took her site down, and changed her email address.

This person also runs another location/Breeding Operation in Canada. Here in the Northeast we are into a bitter COLD week, Zero & Sub Zero temps. By Friday night we are expected to be at -13, that’s MINUS 13 DEGREES.

Some of these dogs/puppies are NOT going to make it! They will NOT survive these cold temps.

All Media/News Stations have been notified by many, many people. All Police Depts/Law Enforcement also are aware. Police were there last night, they are not going to do ANYTHING!

People are continuing to contact Police, Vets, News Media, News Papers, SPCA’s, Shelters, Rescues, the County DA, The Mayor, etc.

PLEASE make calls & keep making calls! So Important! Because the Police will not do anything and these helpless animals are not being seized [as of yet] Eric is taking desperate means to try and save as many as he can by ‘buying’ some of them, mainly young puppies & seniors mostly at risk of death by freezing. He needs HELP NOW, TODAY. He is asking for donations, any amount works, it all adds up!

These innocent animals do NOT deserve to live like this, they do NOT deserve to die!

This “facility” is a puppy mill with dogs and puppies suffering in sub-zero temperatures with only frozen plastic barrels as shelter, no hay for bedding. Please do your part and put backyard breeders like her out of business!! Shame on You Kathy Weich for your greed and disregard for these animals! Disgusting!!

I know noting about Eric so will not say anything on that issue.

That said….anyone who thinks a plastic barrel with no bedding is proper shelter should try to spend the night in one. They are either profoundly stupid or profoundly lacking in the most basic compassion…or both!!

    And an electric fence??!

Failure to provide adequate shelter is simply animal cruelty.

    January 2, 2014 at 3:19 pm ·

What we will never know is how many of their so-called-well-kept-puppies HAVE ALREADY DIED…. check their trashcans, I guess. To every person who is defending the deplorable conditions of these PUPPIES and dogs – please, spend a night in a plastic barrel in sub zero temps – and THEN let us all know how comfy you were. The conditions are repulsive. These are backyard puppy millers, not compassionate, responsible, scrupulous breeders. The difference (other than the cruel conditions) between them and legitimate breeders with morals, is this: “Real” breeders have buyers lined up for their puppies BEFORE the breeding takes place, they ALWAYS take back any pup that doesn’t work out – no questions asked, parents are hip scored, thoroughly vetted, kept INDOORS, well trained with temperament testing that is documented…. as well… REAL breeders are involved in breed rescue… helping to pick up the mess that back yard puppy mill breeders like FLAT CREEK leave behind. It’s time to STOP people like this for good, and demand new laws and regulations from our representatives and senators….. and make THIS illegal.

You people are nuts!!!! Next we will have to bring all the cattle inside because it is cold. What is your problem???These animals work in the cold. To keep them in a heated building then take them out in the cold all day to work is what is cruel. You people that know not a damn thing about what you are talking about need to mind your own business and get a life. Why don’t you go sponsor a homeless person or better yet invite one into your home that would otherwise freeze to death tonight. any one that defends the condition of this OUTSIDE breeding facility in extreme weather of -14 degrees w/windchill -35 and you feel theses barrels or so called shelters are adequate for this extreme weather should actually read this NY Animal Cruelty Statue
    Here is the NY Law-
    26 Ag & Markets 353-b.

§ 353-b. Appropriate shelter for dogs left outdoors. 1. For purposes
    of this section:
    (a) “Physical condition” shall include any special medical needs of a
dog due to disease, illness, injury, age or breed about which the owner
or person with custody or control of the dog should reasonably be aware.
    (b) “Inclement weather” shall mean weather conditions that are likely
to adversely affect the health or safety of the dog, including but not
limited to rain, sleet, ice, snow, wind, or extreme heat and cold.
    (c) “Dogs that are left outdoors” shall mean dogs that are outdoors in
inclement weather without ready access to, or the ability to enter, a
house, apartment building, office building, or any other permanent
structure that complies with the standards enumerated in paragraph (b)
of subdivision three of this section.
    2. (a) Any person who owns or has custody or control of a dog that is
left outdoors shall provide it with shelter appropriate to its breed,
physical condition and the climate. Any person who knowingly violates
the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a violation,
punishable by a fine of not less than fifty dollars nor more than one
hundred dollars for a first offense, and a fine of not less than one
hundred dollars nor more than two hundred fifty dollars for a second and
subsequent offenses. Beginning seventy-two hours after a charge of
violating this section, each day that a defendant fails to correct the
deficiencies in the dog shelter for a dog that he or she owns or that is
in his or her custody or control and that is left outdoors, so as to
bring it into compliance with the provisions of this section shall
    constitute a separate offense.
    (b) The court may, in its discretion, reduce the amount of any fine
imposed for a violation of this section by the amount which the
defendant proves he or she has spent providing a dog shelter or
repairing an existing dog shelter so that it complies with the
requirements of this section. Nothing in this paragraph shall prevent
the seizure of a dog for a violation of this section pursuant to the
    authority granted in this article.
    3. Minimum standards for determining whether shelter is appropriate to
a dog’s breed, physical condition and the climate shall include:
    (a) For dogs that are restrained in any manner outdoors, shade by
natural or artificial means to protect the dog from direct sunlight at
all times when exposure to sunlight is likely to threaten the health of
    the dog.
    (b) For all dogs that are left outdoors in inclement weather, a
housing facility, which must: (1) have a waterproof roof; (2) be
structurally sound with insulation appropriate to local climatic
conditions and sufficient to protect the dog from inclement weather; (3)
be constructed to allow each dog adequate freedom of movement to make
normal postural adjustments, including the ability to stand up, turn
around and lie down with its limbs outstretched; and (4) allow for
effective removal of excretions, other waste material; dirt and trash.
The housing facility and the area immediately surrounding it shall be
regularly cleaned to maintain a healthy and sanitary environment and to
    minimize health hazards.
    4. Inadequate shelter may be indicated by the appearance of the
housing facility itself, including but not limited to, size, structural
soundness, evidence of crowding within the housing facility, healthful
environment in the area immediately surrounding such facility, or by the
appearance or physical condition of the dog.
    5. Upon a finding of any violation of this section, any dog or dogs
seized pursuant to the provisions of this article that have not been
voluntarily surrendered by the owner or custodian or forfeited pursuant
to court order shall be returned to the owner or custodian only upon
proof that appropriate shelter as required by this section is being
    provided.
    6. Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect any
protections afforded to dogs or other animals under any other provisions
    of this article.

So here we go again. Eric calls his FB army to action with regard to a situation that is happening in his back yard and has been for years. All of a sudden, this army from where the heck ever believes every word this man says with no proof besides the photos he has chosen to post. Yeah, I know. The conditions are not what I approve of but coming from another breeder (Eric) it is a bit of a joke. Yes, Eric breeds Pits. Yes, I have copies of his advertisements to sell these pups. Yes, he bought dogs from BDAK (Blue Dragon Alaska) as his breeding stock. Yes, I have proof of the purchase. Yes, dogs have gone missing from his “sanctuary”. Yes, I have copies of threatening emails from him to rescue organizations asking where the dogs were. Yes, I have copies of checks (totaling thousands of dollars) sent to him for the care of these animals. But, unfortunately, none of this will matter to many of his Facebook fans. He is your saint, your hero. Feel free to worship whomever you choose. But, beware of false idols for certainly Eric is one.

This place is absolutely disgusting, the pics say it all and there are plenty all over fb. These people are totally disgusting, they are bums, try getting a job and stop exploiting animals, using them for profit, not caring one bit for any of them.. neglect them, abuse them so their suffering can pay your bills while you sit back in your warm trash of a house knowing they are out there freezing. How many have already died from freezing? We are watching you and we will not stop! How do you sleep at night hearing all those poor babies crying and yelping for help? You people make me ashamed to be human. May Karma visit your world and create havoc and hell, worst than any nightmare you can imagine.

FYI to those who posted they have “adopted” many dogs from this place…when you BUY from a breeder, that is called SHOPPING, NOT ADOPTING. It has been snowing here and negative degree temps…dogs do NOT belong outside during this weather. Of course, if all you see them as is a check vs. a family member, then I guess it makes sense to you to keep them outside. SMDH

How can anyone look at these conditions these dogs and puppies are enduring and consider them humane or even adequate for that matter? These are NOT working dogs, they are JUST used for breeding and lining the pockets of the owner, while millions of animals die in shelters all across the U.S. due to pet overpopulation. This is NOT humane treatment of companion animals and I am outraged that no one in the state of NY that can help these babies is doing anything to end their suffering!!!!

Seriously??? It should not be soo hard to get this hearltess bitch shut down. I drive by here on a regular basis, and every time i think to myself, im comin back at nite and cuttin the fence and turnin them loose, they stand a better chance runnin free than they do here…at least they would have a chance of getting picked up by the dog warden, or someone seeing them wandering around and take them in…And i have yet to see anyone outside feeding and watering these dogs, let alone giving them any kind of love or training…If these people were any kind of reputable breeders, they would have an indoor facility, with heat, and hired hands to help take care of these dogs, and give them some training while they have them, so when they are bought, they will have a forever home, instead of getting turned over to the animal shelter for behavior problems, that arent their fault because they werent taught, like shitting in the house, and chewing on things..And how the hell do they pay for routine vet care for all of these dogs?? I know it costs me a few hundred bucks a year for an annual checkup on one dog, and god forbid she get hurt or sick…These people should be forced to live the way the are making these poor dogs live..Without a doubt, this place needs to be shut down…Not to mention, there are enough homeless dogs in our area, we dont need to add to it, if someone wants a dog, please go to the animal shelter, there are good purebred dogs to be found there, dont go to places like this and support this cruelty

As shocking to you as this may be, Eric isn’t the only person who has been to this place. Eric is not the only person who took pictures. Eric is not the only person who has provided proof of this disgusting place. Lastly, Eric is not the only person “rallying” troops or gathering an army. Perhaps you’re secretly his biggest fan, which is the cause for you to focus solely on him? Regardless, there are at least a dozen others who have driven by the Flat Creek Puppy Production and Canine Neglect Facility and have seen this disgust for themselves. THOSE are the people that I’ve been following. THEIR testimonies, THEIR pictures were enough to convince me. As an animal advocate I can only speak to the fact that what may have begun as a love to be around dogs by the breeder, has turned into a living hell for the dozens of dogs and puppies which may all be dead by tomorrow. The temps are going to freeze these babies. The breeder must do the right thing…..surrender any dogs not able to fit inside the small house to volunteers. If not, and any deaths occur….I can only say that the enormous number of animal rights activists will be able to legally shut this hell-hole down and force charges of animal cruelty toward this worthless breeder!

The laws will be changed and Cruella will be out of business. She and Herbert now need to worry if they will be brought up on animal cruelty charges. Are you involved with them? It is over. No more breeding for money. There are too many dogs and this is the end of the business. Cut your losses, surrender the dogs and go get a real job. The world is watching now!

Anyone who looks at the photos of the strictly outdoor living conditions for these dogs can see it is a puppy mill, the dogs are living in deplorable conditions with no protection from the elements. Outdoor kennels may be acceptable in warmer climates, however a NY winter is not that. Tiny puppies and elderly dogs forced to live out in the freezing elements in barrels? Has she never heard of insulated dog houses? Her house looks like a dump, so no surprise she breeds dogs in a dump as well. I am shocked that anyone would be so ignorant to call the breeder a kind person, anyone who speaks well of her here is truly an ignorant fool, lacking education and utterly devoid of common sense. Together if we all call attention to this, we can shut this lunatic of a woman down for good. COME ON EVERYONE!

To Glen: These are not “work” dogs. They are domestic dogs bred to be bought as pets. They are pets, not a being used as a prop or device for income. You right along with Kathy and Herbert should be chained to a plastic barrel to freeze your ignorant, heartless, money thirsty asses off. To Dogzindanger: are you looking for recognition?Although people may have been aware of this situation, no one was as smart as Eric to take it to social media. You are now upset because these animals you are trying to save are now in the public view but you and others have not been recognized? Who has motives here? To Kathy and Herbert: Hell is going to be an awful place for you.
