Hello Sheila Taylor: I adopted Stormy (Purrkees Here Comes the Storm; we renamed her Sunny) from you, and, to my great sadness, she recently acquired liver cancer and had to be put down Nov. 5. She was born January 10, 2008, and I acquired her from you when she was three. She was a wonderful dog and friend. My brother and sister-in-law Chris and Valerie Armstrong of Toronto recommended you. They have had Keeshonds for many years. I wondered if you might have an adult dog for adoption. I am trying to find out how to acquire another Kees. My family have had this breed of dog for decades, beginning with my mother (Toronto) and going on to my sister (Montreal), and my brother, cited above.
I am 86 years old and in excellent health. I know I am not the usual dog owner. I walk my dogs a few times a day, take them to the Eastern Townships each weekend, occasionally board them when traveling with my daughter in Montreal or in reputable kennels, for which they have preventative shots. My various vets would recommend me, I am sure. I can give you all their names.
Since I now live in a 4th floor apartment, very dog-tolerant, I would like to adopt an adult, trained dog. Would you consider my application?
