At Wild Oak Rat Terriers, we proudly strive to breed the best to the best, emphasis on temperament, health, soundness, structure, beauty, brains and prey drive. Our dogs are our pets, in our home, never kenneled, on our 93 acre home. We enjoy participating with them in performance events and conformation competition. A Rat Terrier’s main love in life is to be with their people, so they enjoy competing too, pets first, show dogs second. Rat Terriers are a hardy healthy breed, strong, active, loyal, happy and funny. They are the ultimate family companion, happy to lay around all day, ready to go in an instant. They are very sensitive, easy to train, registered with UKC and AKC, Grand Champions and Champions, they can do it all.
Their tails are docked and dew-claws removed, before they go to their forever home they are vaccinated, examined by a Vet, microchipped and wormed since 2 weeks of age.
